Supervision (so what's that about?)

If you're visiting this website looking for the right therapist for you, you might be wondering what "supervision" is. Here's a quick explanation. All counsellors and psychotherapists are required to have their own supervisor to review their work with clients, their professional development, and sometimes their personal development as well. Supervision is a professional service, rather than a managerial role, and the supervisor acts as a consultant rather than a boss.

I really enjoy working as a supervisor for other counsellors. Although my own practice is underpinned by the person-centred approach I work with supervisees from different approaches too. I have a Certificate in Individual Supervision for Counsellors and Psychotherapists from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and offer supervision to both qualified counsellors and counsellors in training.

My rates start at £40 per hour.

I work from my consultation rooms in Glasgow city centre and Uddingston.

If you're looking for a supervisor please get in touch by phone, text or e-mail and we can take it from there.
